Joel Spark

Space Entrepreneur

Joel Spark is a Canadian entrepreneur and space science enthusiast. He is Co-Founder and Chief Satellite Designer of Spire Global, and Director of Spire Canada.

He co-founded Spire in 2012 with the mission of improving life on Earth using data from space. Spire designs, manufactures, and operates the world’s largest multi-purpose satellite constellation, producing data used across multiple industries to combat the impacts of climate change and strengthen global security.

Joel holds a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering from Carleton University, and a Masters of Space Management from the International Space University.
